Career / Employment (employers,
positions and dates)
Institute of Physics and Technics of Academy of Sciences of USSR,
research scientist, Institute of Medical Electronics, Lviv, Ukraine.
Scientific work area: theoretical and experimental studies of
bioelectric activity of human body (brain and muscles).
scientist, Institute of Physics and Mechanics of National Academy of
Sciences of Ukraine, Lviv, Ukraine. Scientific work area: marine EM
sounding (theory and development of active EM systems), theoretical and
experimental investigations of very low frequency EM waves of different
origins (antennas, interference, ionospheric currents) in variety media
(air, sea water, ground, space plasma).
Senior Research Fellow, LC ISR.
Scientific work area: 1) development of theory and
methods for detection and location of ultralow frequency EM sources,
particularly for study of pre earthquake lithospheric EM activity; 2)
development of theory of active EM sounding for natural hazards
prediction (a) for study of the Earth’s crust conductivity changes (for
earthquakes and volcanic eruptions forecast), (b) for study the solar
wind – magnetosphere interactions (for space weather forecast); 3)
development of theory and methods of electric and magnetic measurements
in variety media (space plasma, Earth, sea water etc.); 4) theoretical
study of current density measurements in space plasma; 5) detection of
subsurface objects by portable active EM sounding systems.
